Combining OGDC's deep industry expertise with IBA's academic excellence, the Academy delivers impactful learning experiences for professionals.

CleanTech Incubation Zone at LUMS Center for Entrepreneurship
Supporting Pakistan's next generation of clean energy innovators.
OGDC partners with LUMS to support early stage startups and innovation through the LUMS Center for Entrepreneurship. This collaboration connects OGDC with emerging ventures in the clean energy space, fostering innovation that aligns with Pakistan's evolving energy landscape.

OGDC and GIKI BS Petroleum Engineering Program
Creating a dedicated academic pipeline of petroleum engineers trained and industry ready from day one.
OGDC and GIKI have launched a BS Petroleum Engineering stream at GIKI, the first of its kind under the GIKI OGDC Partnership Program. Students will receive 8 weeks of classroom training at OGTI, followed by 8 weeks of hands on field training at OGDC operations. Final year projects will be assigned by OGDC, ensuring graduates directly contribute to real industry challenges. The program will create a continuous and sustainable pipeline of petroleum engineering talent for Pakistan's energy sector.

OGDC and NUST Decarbonization Research Program
Mapping OGDC's carbon footprint to build a credible, field grounded path to decarbonization.
OGDC and NUST have partnered to develop a strategic decarbonization framework for OGDC's operations. NUST researchers will conduct field visits across six operational sites, covering large, medium, and small oil and gas fields, to establish baseline GHG emissions. The engagement culminates in a structured decarbonization roadmap with actionable mitigation strategies, positioning OGDC at the forefront of responsible energy production in Pakistan.
