OGDC Honored at Corporate Philanthropy Awards 2024

OGDC participated in the Corporate Philanthropy Awards 2024, organized by the Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy (PCP) in Islamabad. The event highlighted the significant role of the corporate sector in driving sustainable development through impactful CSR initiatives.

Considering OGDC's position as a leading CSR contributor in the corporate sector, MD/CEO OGDC, Mr. Ahmed Hayat Lak, was invited as a panelist during the launch of PCP's, Impact Assessment handbook, prepared in collaboration with LUMS. The panel discussion was moderated by Dr. Attiya Inayatullah, Chairperson PCP. OGDC’s impactful CSR contributions were recognized during the event.

Mr. Ahmed Hayat Lak emphasized the corporate sector’s obligation to foster community well-being and underscored the importance of impact assessments for effective CSR programs.
