Dr. Khalid Amin Khan

Dr. Khalid Amin Khan is a distinguished geophysicist with over 33 years of experience in exploration, geophysical services, seismic processing, and geological services. As Executive Director (Exploration), he leads the Exploration Directorate and has also served as Chief Instructor at the Oil & Gas Training Institute (OGTI), contributing significantly to technical excellence and professional capacity building.

Holding a Ph.D. in Computational Geophysics, Dr. Khan has authored more than 60 international research publications and presented his work at leading global conferences. He is a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society and a member of the American Geophysical Union, Society of Exploration Geophysicists, International Association of Mathematical Geosciences, and a Founding Member of the Pakistan Geophysical Network.
