Muhammad Aamir Salim

Mr. Muhammad Aamir Salim has 30 years of diversified experience in the oil and gas industry and currently serves as Executive Director (Petroserv) where he oversees drilling operations, oilfield services, and various other engineering support services. He has held this position since August 2019 and also represents OGDC on the Board of Mari Petroleum Company Limited (MPCL) as a Non-Executive Director and member of the Investment and ESG Committees.

A Mechanical Engineer from NED University of Engineering & Technology, Mr. Salim began his career with Schlumberger Oilfield Services and held leadership positions across South East Asia and the Middle East both in onshore and offshore operations. Prior to joining OGDC, he served with Arabian Drilling Company - a Schlumberger Joint Venture Company, where he held senior management roles in operations management, offshore rigs construction, HSE, and performance optimization initiatives. He is a seasoned professional and completed an Executive MBA from London Business School in 2018. He is also a certified Director from PICG, Pakistan, and in 2026 completed a Program on Corporate Strategy for Board Members from INSEAD Fontainebleau, France.
