Sajid Mahmood

Mr. Sajid Mahmood is a seasoned geophysicist with over 34 years of experience in exploration geophysics, seismic operations, and subsurface evaluation. As General Manager (Basin Studies & Emerging Resources), he leads initiatives in basin studies, seismic data processing, exploration management, and geophysical services, contributing to the advancement of exploration and resource development.

Holding an M.Sc. in Geophysics from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, Mr. Mahmood joined OGDC in 1992 and has served in several key technical and leadership positions. He has also contributed to academia as a visiting faculty member and authored technical papers, reflecting his commitment to innovation, research, and knowledge sharing.
